A new journey begins.

Next week I join my friend Steve for a new Caminho. Notice the spelling, Caminho. We will be in Portugal walking the Caminho de Fatima. The Way to Fatima, the site of the miracles of 1917, starting from Lisboa. Google Map of the Caminho de Fatima
The following two weeks, our friend Sieglinde from Germany will join us for a walk in the Alentejo region of Portugal to the south of Lisboa, called the Rota Vicentina, beginning at Santiago do Cacém and will be a combination of the Historical Way and the Fishermans Trail along the Vicentina coast, hopefully ending up at Cabo de São Vicente. (spelling errors are mine!).  Google Map of the Rota Vicentina
This blog may be updated whilst we walk, depending on internet access and time, and my number of blisters.
Forca! A bit of a musical diversion

And don't worry, these boots are now well worn in.
